We were thinking about writting and singing a rap about Bureaucracy, so that people learn what Bureaucracy is with a cetchy little tune (much like the bill on capitol hill song). So far we have some ideas and maybe the begining.

Ideas:

Against Bureaucracy thoughts

     Too big

     Regulates too much

     Costs too much

     Infringes on freedoms

     Disorganized

     Ineffiecient

     Unconstitutional

     Unfunded Mandates

     Administrative Discretion

     Bureaucrats= self serving and bad (focused on process rather than product)

Thoughts in favor of Bureaucracy

     Helps American people

     Helps other branches

     Spreads out responsibilities

     Employees a tone of people

     Gives people another way to connect to/have a part in the government

     Stable (iron triangle)

     Special intrest groups

Begining of rap:

The Bureaucracy

Creates the fourth branch -

Wait,

fourth?

I thought there were three

No,

The Bureaucracy

Is the fourth branch

Of our democracy

Made up of more then one entity

Headed by the big P and C

Although also by you and me

In a special little agency

you get the idea, it needs some work and feel free to give some suggestions
